Arthur M. Esposito

Art Esposito has been leading Church & Dwight’s global sustainability efforts since his appointment in 2016. As the chair of a company-wide, cross-functional council, Art ensures that the company’s sustainability platform and initiatives effectively serve its principal stakeholders both in the short and long term. His core focus areas include products and brands, responsible sourcing, environmental operating footprint, and employees and communities. Additionally, he manages various stakeholder requests, including ESG-related disclosures for the investor community, where the company consistently receives favorable third-party recognition.

Prior to this role, Art was President and General Manager of Natronx Technologies, LLC, an equal equity joint venture between Church & Dwight, FMC Corporation, and TATA Chemicals. He led strategic business initiatives for this new company, focusing on industrial and electric utility air pollution control solutions. Previously, he served as Director of Commercialization and Emerging Business for the Specialty Products Division and was the business lead for their Performance Products Group. During his 40-year tenure at Church & Dwight, Art has held various technical and commercial leadership positions supporting both the Consumer and Specialty Products (B2B) Divisions. Since its founding in 2020, he has served on the board of the company’s Philanthropic Foundation.

Art is a long-standing member of the Executive Board of Directors of the Chemistry Council of New Jersey (CCNJ), where he was Chairman of the Executive Committee from 2007 to 2011. CCNJ is a 90-plus member industry advocacy group committed to enhancing quality of life through science. He is currently a board member of The Household and Commercial Products Association (HCPA) and is actively involved in various industry associations focused on the CPG industry and sustainability/corporate responsibility. He has also served on the Board of ArmaKleen Corporation, a joint venture between CHD and Safety-Kleen Corporation.

Art holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The New Jersey Institute of Technology and has pursued extensive postgraduate work in various aspects of business management.
